The Capitol grounds were closed today, so demonstrators were across the street at the Supreme Court.
Fighting political violence
On January 5th, Courage for America held an event by the Capitol Reflecting Pool. The organization’s goal is a bi-partisan fight against MAGA extremism.
There were four Representatives speaking, all of whom had served in the military.
The first speaker, Jason Crow, is a former Army Ranger with multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. He was the last to leave the House chamber on Jan. 6th as he used his expertise to protect others.
