Conceptual artist Rirkrit Tiravanija spoke at the media preview of his new exhibit at the Hirshhorn, (who’s afraid of red, yellow, and green).

The artwork includes serving curry in three different colors: red, yellow, and green. These are the colors of recent protests against the Thai government by different factions.

During the two-month course of the exhibit, the walls will be filled in by drawings of Thai protests or related historic images, selected by Tiravanija and projected on the walls.

A few weeks later, most of the walls are covered with images.
