On Sundays in December, the New York subway runs a special train composed of vintage subway cars on a ride along the regular subway tracks, making the same stops for the same fare as a regular subway car. This year the train ran along the F line from 2nd Avenue, and then switched to the new 2nd Ave. line. Many people at the stations are not aware of this event and are startled when the old train pulls into the station. Some groups and people come to role-play in the cars and at the beginning and ending stations on the route.
