After the health care vote to proceed on discussion, Democratic Senators came out into the waiting crowd to express their disappointment and resolve to keep fighting, and asking the people to do the same. There was a large crowd and I was toward the center of it, just a couple of feet from the Senators. After a few short speeches, they moved to the Capitol steps, where the crowd was allowed up on the apron.
