I was lucky to get to go on an Instameet at Ford’s Theatre yesterday, getting a preview of the great set for their upcoming play Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. The set made a startling juxtaposition with the historic Ford’s Theatre – what would Lincoln have thought looking down from his booth at the country one century later?
All the 60’s details were perfect, from the martini glasses to the hi-fi to the globe to the rotary phone. And the $.25 January 20th 1961 Time cover – what a contrast to today.
