Last night at the Supreme Court, Democrats from the House and Senate sponsored a rally to oppose Trump’s immigration and refugee order. There was a very large crowd filling the area by the Court and the street and the nearby Capitol grounds. Shortly after the event was due to start, the police briefly parted the crowd and the Democratic leaders walked through, some holding vigil candles. I was especially thrilled to get to see the great John Lewis up close, even though this photo is from an obstructed view.
